As for Canada you’ll never tire of the type of fishing available. Canada has tens of thousands of rivers, ponds, freshwater lakes, saltwater bodies of water and streams. Freshwater and saltwater are both available and guided excursions are well worth the investment for what you’ll learn and the places you can explore. Fishing in Canada is generally divided into two camps – fresh water (lakes, streams, rivers and remote ponds) and salt water. The most famous type in Canada has to be salmon fishing. Many varieties of salmon such as the Coho, Sockeye, Chinook and chum are ready to be caught and enjoyed. You’ll find ample guides across the country specializing in salmon.

Popular saltwater fishing includes shark and tuna plus many other smaller varieties. One of the most challenging fishing in Canada is fly fishing. This is more than hobby fishing, it is a learned sport style of fishing. Catching fish using an artificial lure called a fly.

But if you want a taste for a real Canadian adventure you simply have to try your hand at ice fishing! You can find and hire guides but if you go to an area that has established huts you won’t need a guide. You simply rent a hut (they’re heated with propane heaters) where a hole has already been drilled into the ice, buy your bait and fish to your heart’s content. Lake Simcoe is the most popular and is recognized as Canada’s ice fishing capital.

For tourists who would like to experience the best of Canada I highly recommended that you come along with guides specializing in the type of fishing you’re interested in. If you choose to go on an adventure alone you’ll want to perform a lot of research first, then bring as many emergency supplies as possible just in case you’re out of your element or comfort zone.

If you would like to experience real adventure in fishing, then Canada is the perfect location for you. Fishing in Canada is divided in two groups. That is the Lake Water Fishing and the Salt Water Fishing. The two groups are totally different especially in Canada.

The most famous fishing in Canada is the Salmon Fishing, which is enjoying and rewarding. Salmon varieties that are abundant in Canada are the Coho, Sockeye Salmon, Chinook and the chum. Salmon are known for their size and beauty.
Ice Fishing is also an option for you if you would like to experience fishing in Canada. There are also ice fishing guides that could assist you in your trip. They will ensure your safety and enjoyable experience in Canada. Ice fishing requires special gear, outfits and techniques that require the help of a skilled ice fishing guide. Many tourists who come to Canada for ice fishing can rent ice huts to keep them warm and away from wind.
